Abstract Impressions Roses Delightfully Detailed Corners Stampin Up! card

This card is on a Granny Apple Green base with a Whisper White layer. The roses are stamped multiple times by twisting the stamp as it is stamped. This was a technique back when we had the set Roses in Winter, so I wanted to try it here and use it for next week's class. I used a Blender Pen to fill in the open areas of the small flowers.

To place the corner stamps, I punched first of course. Then, I lined up the edges of the stamp with the cardstock edges.  I made sure that I covered up the two edge petals of the punch almost completely.  (Just a little sliver should show at the top.)

Stitched All Around Blueberry Bushel Stampin Up! Birthday card

I love the way the cross stitched background can be randomly placed on the card.  It is more striking in real life with the Whisper White peeking through the Xes.  The cute coordination of the edging dies is so pretty to me.  You can also put a stitched oval inside the large layer when it is turned the other (portrait) direction for a cute look.

Blueberry Bushel is a pretty, rich color as well.

Waterfront Retirement Note card Stampin' Up!

We needed a retirement card for one of Sara's favorite teachers today, and I wanted to use the Waterfront set beach looksince I think it is a nice retirement idea. Since I used the Stamparatus, it was quick to make another similar design to the nail polish holder image.  The adorable framelit form the Stitched Labels framelits cut out the "enjoy your retirement" sentiment from Itty Bitty greetings with an added bit of cuteness on the narrow notecard. I cut the Burlap ribbon to get three rustic pieces to tie into a knot for the corner.

Waterfront Nail Polish Holder Gift Tutorial Video

This is a new size for the Nail Polish Holder Tutorial I made long ago. It is the most popular post ever on my blog with over 22,000 views. (The next closest post has 4,400 views.) The original has flip flops stamps, but I like the beach scene for it too!

It isn't amazing or anything, but here it is if you'd like to see it: Nail Polish Holder (original size)
There's plenty of room to add toe separators and a file behind the bottles for a complete gift!

Cardstock is 8X6". Score the 6" side at 1-3/4" and 3-4/1". Score the 8" side at 1-3/4" and 3-1/2". Score only up to the other score line at 5-1/4". There's no need for a crease on the back. I used the Stamparatus to make the Waterfront image NOT the Stampamajig...obviously. Oops!
